Space Time Foam is an independent game developer sporting a small, highly experienced and versatile team of game developers, operating out of Copenhagen, Denmark. We are part of Spilhuset (The Game House), a cluster of Danish game companies in central Copenhagen.
We believe that simplicity reigns supreme. We like top-down shooters and LEGO. And cake.
We’re working toward a long-term goal of a company made of small, autonomous teams developing a tight, focused, kick-ass games for basically any viable platform. We’ve seen companies “go corporate” and deprave people of their souls and take the joy out of making games. We believe that we can crack the code to keep the energized and positive garage feel, while making top-shelf products that earn great money – all without forcing anyone to work stupid hours on things they don’t care about.
We make money to keep ourselves investor-free by doing interesting work for hire for really good clients.
Those who aren’t working our client projects, are making our own products. These build toward a future where we can work exclusively on what is the most fun, all day, every day, be it work for hire or our own IP.
The current incarnation of Space Time Foam was founded in April 2008.
The company name had an early life from 1999 to approx. 2004 as Tobias’ personal company. This was the company in which we made the original Chase Ace and Chase Ace 2 games.
